Posters: Guidelines and Instructions
The maximum size of finished posters should be:
- Width: 95 cm (950 mm)
Height: 150 cm (1500 mm)We would recommend that posters are produced in PORTRAIT format. If you are producing your poster to a specific paper size, A0 will fit in portrait format. Please ensure that your poster DOES NOT exceed these dimensions or it will not fit onto the allocated poster board. - Posters will be displayed by category and poster numbers allocated accordingly. Poster numbers will be posted on each board and you will be provided with instructions on the location of the poster boards and your poster number(s) at registration. Posters MUST be mounted on the assigned board. A full list of posters to be displayed will be published on the FIS website in advance of the conference.
- Posters may be put up from 08.30 on Tuesday 13th November and MUST be removed by 14.30 on Thursday 15th November. Any posters left behind after this time may be thrown away.
- As your poster may be viewed at distances as far as 3 feet or more, we would recommend that lettering should be large enough to be read from this distance, preferably in an easy-to-read font.
- Please do not mount your poster on heavy board as this will make it difficult to keep in position on the poster board.
- The only product which can be used to affix poster to the boards is hook Velcro. The Conference Organisers will have a limited supply, but it is recommended that you bring your own with you.
